Art Workshop in the Garden
Theme – Bee Bricks
This workshop will include activities such as:
- Making ‘bee bricks’, (a habitat for solitary bees), from natural materials
- Helping to create instructions, so others can make their own bee bricks
Join artist Jess Morgan and our Head Gardener, Jack Mackenzie, for monthly art workshops in the garden, celebrating the positive effects that gardening, creativity, and the natural environment can have on personal well-being.
Our workshops are inclusive and open to all, offering the opportunity to discover and engage with nature in a relaxed and welcoming environment. You will be guided through the gardens at Priscilla Bacon Lodge during a series of unique, creative workshops focusing on colour, light, texture, movement, and perspective.
The events will cover a range of activities including drawing, painting, writing, printmaking, and photography, through the use of simple resources that can be taken away to continue work in your own time.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, as most sessions will be outdoors.
The Friends Café will be open for refreshments and toilet facilities are available.
To help us to plan for numbers, please book your free place.
