Coffee morning and shopping event raises £750

We were delighted to be one of two charities benefitting from funds raised at an annual coffee morning held on 16th October by Priscilla Bacon Hospice supporter Paris Back. The event in Bergh Apton was very well-attended, with people enjoying a fabulous selection of homemade cakes and baked treats.

Everyone perused and purchased from the wide range of stalls; including homemade ceramics, jewellery, soaps and a very well-stocked tombola! The stallholders all donated 10% of their sales to the charities.

Funds raised were split between Priscilla Bacon Hospice and Brooke (Action for Working Horses and Donkeys), with Priscilla Bacon Hospice receiving a fantastic £750 in total.

We are very grateful to Paris for all her hard work and efforts in making this event such a success.
